"I like to think of a Nutritional Therapist as being the 'Sherlock Holmes' of the health practitioners."

The Embryologist Nutritionist

Hi, I'm Sarah. I help couples and individuals who are trying to conceive.

I'm a nutrition practitioner specialising in fertility. I help couples, and single females, to maximise their chances of a healthy pregnancy, even if they feel that they've tried every avenue already.

My mission when working with clients is to provide a safe, supportive environment where they feel really heard. I listen to your story, and understand where you're currently at: your worries, frustrations, barriers. We then work together to understand the root cause of what has led you to this moment, and how we can move forward towards your goals.

After working as a clinical embryologist for many years, seeing couples struggling with their fertility, I was driven to find alternative ways to support them on their journey.

I discovered the transformational impact that diet and lifestyle changes can provide, and, as a member of the British Association of Nutritional Therapists (BANT), and the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), I'm on a mission to empower others with that knowledge.

Every client is an individual, with differing histories, conditions, and needs. My approach is therefore a holistic, bespoke, personalised one, taking all of these factors into consideration. My extensive knowledge about IVF and other assisted conception procedures allows me to offer a greater understanding and level of support to those either going through, or preparing for, fertility treatments.

I would love for you to share your journey so far with me, and to have an opportunity for us to discuss what steps you could take next. Book your free 30 minute Fertility Review call with me to see what doors haven't been opened yet!

About Nutritional Therapy

Nutritional therapy is all about acting like a detective, taking a holistic, science-backed, individualised delve into the reasons behind your symptoms or conditions.

The aim of nutritional therapy is to understand the root causes so that they can be addressed and dealt with to help you reach your health goals.

Infertility can feel like a confusing, uncertain, unfair situation, where you are not in control of anything. Working with me can help you to regain some control and understanding.

This will involve nutritional and lifestyle advice, potentially with supplements and testing where necessary. However, a food first approach is always used before advising anything else.

All this detective work takes time, and a single session or two is not likely to be long enough to explore and understand all of the contributing factors to your situation, and to see change. This is why I work in programmes which are a 3 month minimum, so that we can see real progress towards your goals; whether that is regulating your cycle, optimal preparation for fertility treatment, or actually achieving that BFP (= big fat positive), and a healthy pregnancy.
